Aviva Kempner with Senator Ed Markey, Lisa Rivo, and Dr. Susan Blumenthal
This past Sunday, May 19, The Spy Behind Home Plate was featured at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston as the closing film of The National Center for Jewish Film’s Annual Film Festival. Following the sold-out screening, Aviva Kempner was joined by interviewee Senator Ed Markey (MA) for a Q&A full of questions and lively discussion covering WWII, Moe Berg, anti-Semitism, and Red Sox baseball.
The National Center for Jewish Film (NCJF), based at Brandeis University, is led by Executive Director Sharon Rivo and Co-Director Lisa Rivo. The mission of NCJF is to collect, preserve, and exhibit films with artistic and educational value relevant to the Jewish experience, disseminating these materials to the widest possible audience.
Thanks to all who came out to this wonderful event!
